Today, I’m so happy to feature my beautiful friend Marthe Hagen. Marthe and I met each other at the World Domination Summit in July and we instantly connected. At the beginning of November, we met again in Oslo and Marthe showed me the beautiful city she calls home. Marthe is one of the most loving and giving people I’ve ever met and I know she has the power to change many lives – including yours.
The Gifts:
Marthe is giving away
2 Copies of her brand-new book Feeling Good when Life is Hard.
Feeling Good when Life is Hard is a book about living a beautiful and meaningful life in the midst of great challenge. The book includes very personal and vulnerable stories from my own life, all of the wisdom that has helped me through, practical lists, how-to articles and worksheets. In addition you will find inspiring quotes, resources and playlists – among other things!
I was lucky to receive an advance copy of Feeling Good when Life is Hard and I was blown away. I’ve read it twice already!

The Person Behind the Gift:
Marthe Hagen (Hello, that’s me!) is a soulful and adventurous writer and imagemaker. I live in Norway and am passionate about writing, reading and exploring the world. I write, inspire, aim high, ask hard questions, crash and burn (I live life much like a phoenix) over at The Freedom Experiment.
A Freedom Experiment is about giving yourself the freedom to be you. It’s about making tough choices, taking control, and following your dreams. I am a collector of dreams and would love it if you want to share your dream in my Dreambank. You can also connect with me on Twitter and Facebook. I’m excited to meet you!

Thank you so much for having me, Anne-Sophie!
Thank YOU, Marthe for being so generous and playing along.
Ahh, I love Marthe, and would love to win a copy of her e-book!
My ‘feel good’ tools: chocolate, a chat with my mom or best friend, a hot shower, playing with my dogs, and/or using the great podcasts from Meditation Oasis (http://www.meditationoasis.com/podcast/) to destress, deal with anxiety and find some calm and peace.

This sounds like a really cool book, thanks to Marthe for putting in hours to write it, and to you Anne-Sophie for offering it here 🙂 I don’t really have a “go-to” feel good tool, I have several that I choose based on what I feel like. Some of them that I can think of now are: Talking to my mom, who is always happy to tell me how great I’m doing :), playing my guitar and singing in the comfort of my home, getting a good long night’s rest, and last but not least, reading through my great quotes I’ve copied over the last couple years (if I hear or see a great point of view on something, I’ll copy it into my Evernote in my Quotes tag, and I can read through them to change my outlook on things).
Speaking of getting a good night’s rest, I’m pretty tired right now, good night 🙂
Moms are the best, aren’t they? 😀 I love that you have a toolbox of things you can go to when you need some inspiration. Knowing a few tricks does make a huge difference when you feel down.
